Meet the Junior Board
Millen Srivastava
Liaison to the Board of Directors
Millen Srivastava has been a committed member of S.C.A.R.F. since 2015. She is originally from Barrington, Illinois and graduated from UCLA in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Millen then went on to receive her Master’s in Biomedical Sciences from Lincoln Memorial University in 2021. She is now a first year medical student at LMU-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in East Tennessee.
Millen joined S.C.A.R.F. in 2015 as a medical intern during her junior year of high school. She went on to become a student ambassador and in 2017 she created and ran S.C.A.R.F.‘s social media accounts for 3 years, earning her the title of Director of Public Relations. She was also the 2018 of S.C.A.R.F.‘s Dr. Harvinder Sareen Scholarship Award. She currently serves as S.C.A.R.F.’s Liaison to the Board of Directors and her duties entail overseeing our Junior Board, guiding students in our mentorship program, and connecting S.C.A.R.F. to her medical education.
Millen says that S.C.A.R.F. has been and always will be a lifelong commitment for her. To her, S.C.A.R.F. has cultivated a place for her leadership, a voice for her awareness, and a strong passion for medicine and giving back to others. The program has helped her achieve her goals throughout high school, undergrad, and grad school, and it has shaped the future physician she will become. She plans to give back to S.C.A.R.F. by continuing to help younger students in the program and by incorporating the three core values of critical thinking, higher education, and teamwork into her career.
