Catherine Aschbacher is a senior level cardiac rhythm professional with Biotronik, Inc. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Northern Illinois University and considers herself a “forever student,” eager to learn both academically and from “the heart.” She is a Certified Cardiac Device Specialist (CCDS) and a member of the American College of Cardiology – Illinois Chapter. She has been an avid supporter of S.C.A.R.F. since the inaugural Mentorship & Career Guidance Program. She has mentored our student ambassadors and educated them on the intricacies of pacemaker and implantable cardiac defibrillator devices.

 

She is committed to being a mom and is heavily involved in both USA Swimming and the Boy Scouts of America. She enjoys volunteering with Solidarity Bridge, sipping good wine, and exploring all nooks and crannies of the earth.
