Meet Our Alumni
Prachi Patel
I am a junior at Fremd High School and am currently working on a public health project about opioid drug abuse. I am creating a poster that I will present to educate the public about the signs and symptoms of opioid abuse and the different methods we can use to prevent and decrease the amount of opioid drug abuse cases. In my free time, I read and play the piano. I initially joined S.C.A.R.F. to get an insight into careers in healthcare. However, this past summer, I realized that S.C.A.R.F. is more than just a summer program. It gave me the opportunity to meet people who share the same interests as me and I ended the summer with many amazing friendships. S.C.A.R.F. taught me three moral values that I continue to use to become better and improve. But the most important thing S.C.A.R.F. has taught me is to be passionate. Passion is what keeps you motivated and makes you a great leader.
